A thief masquerading as a messenger fleeced the Chelsea Apple store for $58,000 worth of iPhones, cops said Friday.
The charlatan walked into the store on 14th St. near Ninth Ave. and told an employee he was a messenger there for a pickup around 9 a.m. Sept. 14, according to authorities.
After the employee handed the conman three boxes of iPhone 7s, he quickly drove off in a white Ford van, cops said.
Police on Friday released surveillance video of the crooked courier waiting for the merchandise.
