A movie theater outside Los Angeles reportedly showed a trailer for Ridley Scotts All the Money in the World that featured disgraced actor Kevin Spacey after he was booted from the film entirely.
Moviegoers told Deadline Hollywood that the trailer included Spacey, who was replaced with Christopher Plummer after sexual assault allegations against the House of Cards actor came public.
I literally almost jumped out of my seat, Esmarelda VillaLobos told the website.
I said, Oh my God, we just saw a unicorn. And he looked at me all wide-eyed and started giggling. We couldnt believe it was such a big mistake.
The trailer listed Keven Spacey as playing tycoon J. Paul Getty. But Spacey was taken out of the movie in November, and the studio reshot his scenes with Plummer instead.
VillaLobos was shocked by the sloppy mistake.
It was such an egregious error, she said.
I guess nobody checked. After all the publicity and everything Ridley Scott had done to pull this off, and then to have this sneak by, it was very disappointing and shocking. It was such a huge glaring error.
