Security at Saks Fifth Avenue in Midtown discovered a loaded gun inside the bag of a shoplifter who tried to buy a $5,600 bag and $2,800 wallet from Louis Vuitton with a store credit card belonging to somebody else, police said Tuesday.
Claudia Joseph tried to purchase the high end items Monday night with a card, which may have been a duplicate, belonging to a 67-year-old Pittsburgh man, cops said.
While store security held her for police they discovered a loaded .22-caliber Ruger in her bag, along with marijuana, police said.
Joseph, 32, of Brentwood, L.I., was charged with grand larceny and gun and pot possession.

On May 8, she tried to pull a similar scam at Bloomingdales, allegedly using a Long Island womans credit card to make a purchase, cops said.
She was caught with cocaine and Xanax during that caper and charged with grand larceny, identity theft, marijuana possession and drug possession, officials said.
