Drake, Kanye West and Justin Bieber are reportedly not attending the event, sources told Us Magazine.
The 22-year-old “Sorry” pop star, who is nominated for four awards, “doesn’t think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers,” according to TMZ.
Kanye, who is nominated for eight Grammys, previously declared he would boycott the Grammys if Frank Ocean’s “Blonde” album wasn’t nominated and it was not.
However, a source told Us Weekly that the rapper is likely taking some time for himself after a hectic few months.
Drake’s absence is due to a work conflict.
The “Hotline Bling” rapper will be touring in Europe and has a show scheduled that same night in Manchester, England.
