Oscar De La Hoya revealed he is in training for a stunning comeback to fight Conor McGregor.

The Hall of Famer has not fought in nearly 10 years but wants a piece of the UFC superstar.

De La Hoya, 44, lost to Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao in an incredibly one-sided fight last time he stepped between the ropes. But he is eyeing one more fight against the UFC lightweight title holder.

You know Im competitive. You know I still have it in me. Ive been secretly training. Secretly training, De La Hoya told Dash Radio.

The Golden Boy boss said he is faster and stronger than he has ever been, despite his time away from the ring.

Im faster than ever, and stronger than ever, he said. I know I could take out Conor McGregor in two rounds. Ill come back for that fight. Two rounds. Just one more. Im calling him out. Two rounds. Thats all I need. Thats all Im going to say.

McGregor swapped the octagon for the boxing ring in August, when he lost to Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.

But he is being goaded into returning by the ex-world champ.

De La Hoya added: Hes a big Irishman. Hes the king. Hes the king.

Hey, lets get it straight in the cage, he would freaking destroy me. He would destroy me. No, [we have to fight] in the ring.
