Let’s get ready to RUUUUUMBLEE!

The Daily News has learned that the Mets will announce Tim Tebow is going to be sent to Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies to start the 2018 season.

Back in February, Sandy Alderson said that he believed Tebow would play in the Big Leagues, and this appears to be the next step, despite the fact that the Heisman Trophy winner managed just one hit in 18 at-bats this spring.

Last season, Tebow split time between Single-A Columbia and High-A St. Lucie, batting .226 with 8 home runs and 52 RBI.
