When a Long Island home turned into a tinderbox, a pair of heroic cops leaped into action and saved a 5-year-old Pomeranian pooch named Gucci.

Suffolk County Police Officers Joseph Barra and Stephen Caratozzolo came upon the massive blaze charring a home located on Meadow Rue Lane in East Northport at around 1:45 p.m. on Friday, police said.

As the cops circled the burning abode for any victims, they spotted Gucci by the rear door.

The cops then entered through the rear door and delivered the dog out of hellish flames, the police said.

Afterward, both Barra and Caratozzolo were treated at Stony Brook University Hospital for smoke inhalation injuries.

Gucci, the cops said, is expected to pull through.

Arson detectives are probing the house blaze to determine if foul play was involved.
