An attacker slashed the face of a man walking with his baby boy on a Bronx sidewalk, cops said Thursday.

The 41-year-old father was walking with his 1-year-old son on E. 139th St. near Willis Ave. in Mott Haven when the attacker crept up from behind and slashed the man twice across the right side of his face around 2 p.m., according to police.

Medics treated the mans wounds at the scene. His child was uninjured in the attack.

Police on Thursday released surveillance images of the suspect running east on E. 139th St. towards Brook Ave. and are now asking for the publics help identifying him.

He is described as black, about 18, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a black jacket with fur, dark jeans, dark sneakers with white on the bottom and a black bookbag.
